Here are the polling stations for Advance Polling and for General Voting Day in Area P. Please refer to the TNRD website’s Election Page for the official list and other election information.

ADVANCE VOTING OPPORTUNITIES

Wednesday, Nov. 5 and Wednesday, Nov. 12, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., TNRD office, 4th Floor, 465 Victoria St., Kamloops.

Electoral Area P, Wednesday, Nov. 5, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Chase Community Hall, 547 Shuswap Ave., Chase; Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipal Office, 106-3270 Village Way, Sun Peaks.

Voting as a Resident Elector

You are eligible to vote as a Resident Elector in a TNRD Electoral Area if you meet all of the following criteria:

√ You are 18 years of age or older on general voting day;

√ You are a Canadian citizen;

√ You have lived in British Columbia for at least six months (May 13m 2014) immediately before you register to vote;

√ You have been a resident of a TNRD Electoral Area for at least 30 days (October 15, 2014) before voting; and

√ You are not disqualified by the Local Government Act, or any other Act, or the Courts from voting in a local election.

Voting as a Non-Resident Property Elector

Your are eligible to vote as a non-resident property elector if you are not eligible to register as a Resident Elector, and you meet all of the following criteria:

√ You are not eligible to vote as a resident elector;

√ You are 18 years of age or older on general voting day;

√ You are a Canadian citizen;

√ You have lived in British Columbia for at least six months (May 13, 2014) before you register to vote;

√ You are not disqualified by the Local Government Act, any other Act, or the Courts from voting in a local election;

√ And, you are a registered property (owner) in the electoral area where you intend to vote and have been immediately preceding voting day for at least 30 days (October 15, 2014) before you register to vote.
